Each separate extension and department of your business can have its own voicemail inbox to reduce clutter.
Access Everywhere
Check your voicemail on any device of your choosing. If you’re stationed at your desk, check voicemail on your desktop computer or desk phone. If you’re on the go, check on your smartphone or email.
Customized Greetings

Frequently asked questions
On what devices can I check my voicemail?
Any application that is signed into your VATRIX system can access voicemails.
Are the voicemail transcriptions accurate?
VATRIX transcription software is the latest in technology, but if there are glaring audio issues with the voicemail quality (background noise, clarity, speed) the transcription may not be perfectly accurate.
Can I forward/send voicemails?
Yes, the voicemail can be emailed the same way all files are emailed.
What is Enhanced Voicemail?
Enhanced Voicemail (also referred to as Enterprise Voicemail) is a treatment that gives the caller an option to try a different extension before prompting them to leave a message.
Why does it say mailbox full but there is no voicemail?
Case 1: The fax portal has reached the data limit. This can happen when the FAX portal and Voicemail box share the same storage. If a User receives many faxes, this will cause the voicemail box to become full - even if all three voicemail sections (new/saved/trash) of the mailbox appear to be empty. This is a bug in the UI and we have escalated it to the vendor. We expect a fix in an upcoming release, however, we do not yet have an ETA. In the interim, the workaround is to set the voicemail box data limit to Unlimited when this becomes an issue. Please create a ticket with support specifying the domain and user affected. Case 2: SUBSCRIBE messages for MWI are not delivered or dropped. This could be a result of network issues. If this happens, please create a ticket with support to have the Force Notify feature enabled. It sends Voicemail NOTIFY messages even in the case where we don't receive a Subscription to Voicemail. It does not do anything with BLF, although BLF works off of SUBSCRIBE and NOTIFY. Please note that this increases the amount of Network traffic for each device. It should typically only be used when the devices do not send Subscription messages for voicemail. If the Network is set up to allow traffic and can handle Voice Traffic properly, this should never be needed. However, it can act as a band aid in some situations where the firewall isn't VoIP friendly.
What is the max length per voicemail message?
VATRIXx has a default max length of 5 minutes per voicemail message. Each user has 100mb of space to utilize. No automatic clean out or deletion is forced, so the user has full control.
Why isn't my voicemail hyperlink working?
If you are using the voicemail hyperlink and the link opens to an error webpage, it is likely because the voicemail has already been deleted from the user's mailbox. It is recommended to check the voicemail box to make sure the voicemail is still New or Saved.
