Is it possible for callers to interact with Auto Attendant in a language other than English?
Yes. You have the ability to set up voices and options in other languages through Vatrix. Callers will have the ability to select their language through the opening Auto Attendant menu.
Is directing callers through Auto Attendant the same thing as putting callers On Hold?
No. Auto Attendant includes recorded greetings in a voice-only format with the goal of directing callers to the most relevant form of help. This includes what voice recordings customers hear when the call is answered, the menus they navigate through and voicemail greetings. On Hold recordings, on the other hand, are only used after the call has been answered and include music with occasional voice messages. With Auto Attendant, callers are moving through options to accomplish their goals. With On Hold, callers are only waiting for interaction with your business.
Can I record my own voiceover script to greet callers?
Yes, but consider hiring a voiceover artist if you can. Although it is possible to create your own recording to greet callers, we recommend having your menus professionally recorded. Since the Auto Attendant will be there to make a first impression with many of your callers, you want that impression to have everything it needs to propel future customers into business with you. A professional voiceover artist would know how to help you get there.
