VATRIX Call Screening & SPAM Prevention
No business wants to waste time with spam or unwanted calls. VATRIX helps your business eliminate distractions so you can focus on what is important.
Call Screening
It is valuable to know who is calling your business. The VATRIX call screening system provides your business with information about callers so you can determine the priority level of a call. Having the chance to make this choice can contribute to the efficiency of your workplace by unburdening your employees from time-taxing calls and inefficient work practices.
With Call Screening, You Can:
- See caller ID
- Use prompt options to provide additional layers of screening
- Inform contacts of unavailability with automatic text responses
Call Blocking
If a caller must be blocked to protect the performance of your employees, phone numbers can be blocked directly through VATRIX.
With Call Blocking, You Can:
- Permanently block nuisance phone numbers
- Set up an automated message for blocked callers to hear when they call
- Send blocked calls directly to voicemail
- Mark spam callers with a [Spam] tag at the beginning of their Caller ID
Frequently asked questions
How is call screening different from call blocking?
Call screening allows calls through to your employees with the added ability to identify the caller before the phone is picked up. This helps your employees make smart choices about how their time is spent by deciding which calls are time sensitive and which calls can wait. Call blocking, on the other hand, does not allow calls to reach your employees and instead directs them to an automatic message function without requiring any action on the part of your employees.
Can a blocked number still go through the screening process?
No. With this feature enabled, potential spam calls to PBX extensions and fax machines can be detected. You will be provided with the option to send the call directly to voicemail, hang up, or just tag the Caller Name with a [Spam] prefix. You have complete control with any other incoming call that does not behave like a robocall in the system.
Is there a chance that this system could accidentally block legitimate calls?
No. You have complete control over which numbers are blocked, so all other callers will be directed through the call screening system. Additionally, VATRIX's system analyzes incoming calls to detect robocallers, telemarketers, and scammers. Legitimate calls will be connected normally, but any calls that meet criteria for illegal robocalls will be blocked before they ever reach a Vatrix user.
